  • Group Ride – Fresh Pond

    Join us for a ride to Fresh Pond in Cambridge using the Watertown-Cambridge Greenway.  We will loop around the pond and head back on the Greenway, or if the group would like, we can extend the ride a bit by going through Harvard Square, take a short break for a cold drink or cup of coffee,  and then continue along the Charles River paths back to Newton.  You will see how easy and fun it is to get to these delightful places on your bike!     Bike Newton will be hosting a table at the Annual NEWTON HIGHLANDS VILLAGE DAY Sunday, JUNE 14, 2026 11am – 4pm Drop by the Bike Newton table, and even better, we'd love to have you VOLUNTEER for a shift or two at our booth! No experience needed!  Just talk with your fellow Newtonians about biking and let them know that Bike Newton is their grassroots organization helping to make bicycling safer and easier in Newton.
