The classic Chinatown ride is back!   A nice ride along the Charles River, past the Public Gardens and through a bit of downtown Boston to Chinatown for a bite to eat.  We’ll go for a taste of Dim Sum at the large and airy Empire Garden, or similar venue.  Riders have the option of either biking back to Newtonville with the ride leader or putting their bikes on the commuter rail from nearby South Station.  An outbound Framingham/Worcester train leaves at 1:00 pm.

Meet in front of the Star Market on Austin St. in Newtonville, and we’ll leave at 10:00 am. This is a family-friendly, “no-rider-left-behind” ride and all ages are invited, but all  children must be accompanied by an adult.  Bike helmets are required.  20 miles roundtrip, however the route is very flat.   Be sure to check bikenewton.org for last-minute changes.  And to get emails about all upcoming BikeNewton group rides, get on our mailing list right here.
