The Third Annual Tour de Newton: Sunday, June 21, 2015

Registration instructions

The annual Tour de Newton is a great event for kids, adults, and casual bicyclists.  The ride starts simultaneously in all 13 villages.  You’ll  be riding with your village neighbors and have a trained leader/sweep to guide you. The 20 mile, 13 village fun ride stops at each of Newton’s villages, where you’ll be welcomed with refreshments, a village badge, and an overview of the village by the locals.  Ride the whole 20 mile loop, or just a few villages, whichever you like.  It’s a great fun way to see and learn about the whole city.

Registration Instructions
For 2015 we’ve added two new routes! For less experienced riders, we have the Petite Tour, a 5 mile Tour starting and ending near Mason-Rice School. For more experienced riders who want to move a little faster, we have the Contra Tour, starting and ending in Newton Centre, and going in the opposite direction from the other 14 tours. All ride start times are 9:30 sharp. Please arrive by 9:00am to check in!

If you are registering more than two people in a family, you will save money by registering as a family. Please register ALL participants. (e.g., infants must be registered, even if riding in a child seat, for liability reasons.) When you register as a family, the next page will ask for a “team” name; just use your last name to make it easy for ride leaders at check-in. You will also need to fill out a full registration for each participant.

There is no charge for children under 3. Children 3-12 pay the child rate.

All participants must also “sign” a waiver electronically; a parent or guardian must initial for anyone under 18. (We apologize in advance for the length of this process, especially for families.)

Don’t forget to choose a shirt size!

If you are a ride leader or sweep, do not click the ordinary registration link. You will register separately.
