Bike Newton Group Rides head to Providence, RI to try out the East Bay Bike Path! Meet at the East Bay Bike Path Public Parking at 9:30am. This is the Veterans Memorial Parkway parking lot. We encourage car-pooling; the lot can get crowded. We’ll be travelling through East Providence, Warren, Bristol and Barrington. Bring a picnic lunch, or buy something en route.
This is a family-friendly, “no-rider-left-behind” ride and all ages are invited, but all young children must be accompanied by an adult. Bike helmets are required. 28 miles roundtrip. We estimate the total trip, with a lunch stop, to be 3.5 hrs. Be sure to check bikenewton.org for last-minute changes.
