Bikes Not Bombs, is a great non-profit organization based in Jamaica Plain, MA.  According to their mission statement, they “use the bicycle as a vehicle for social change to achieve economic mobility for Black and other marginalized people in Boston and the Global South.”

In support of Bikes Not Bombs, the Fessenden School, 250 Waltham St. in West Newton, is hosting a bike drive on Saturday, April 5th from 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM.   Fessenden students will be on-hand to receive your donated bikes or bicycle accessories.  Click here for all the details.   Here’s your opportunity to support Bike Not Bomb’s great mission, and get rid of that old bike you don’t want anymore (because you got a new one)!
