Banh Mi Ride #1 and #2 turned out to be so popular, we decided to try Banh Mi #3.   This ride will take us from Newtonville, then to see some beautiful foliage along the Watertown-Cambridge Greenway, and around Fresh Pond in Cambridge, and then to Bon Me at 201 Alewife Brook Parkway to sample their Banh Mi sandwich, or other Vietnamese delight.  After the short lunch stop,  we’ll  return to Newton, going around the rest of Fresh Pond.  If the group would like, we can extend the ride a bit by going through Harvard Square and along the Charles River on the way back.

Meet at Star Market at 33 Austin St. in Newtonville. and we’ll depart at 11:00 am Saturday Nov. 7. This is a family-friendly, “no-rider-left-behind” ride and all ages are invited, but all  children must be accompanied by an adult.  Bike helmets are required.  12-15 miles roundtrip, depending on route.  Be sure to check bikenewton.org for last-minute changes.
