Enjoy the MetroWest forests and meadows by bike!  We will start in Newtonville, head to Waltham via the Charles River bike path, and get on the recently completed Mass Central Rail Trail (MCRT) extension at Lyman St., and proceed west to Wayland on the MCRT.  We’ll return on part of the MCRT, but cut through Weston to Commonwealth Ave. and back to Newtonville.   Meet in front of the Star Market on Austin St. in Newtonville, and we’ll leave at 10:00 am, Sunday morning.

This is a family-friendly, “no-rider-left-behind” ride and all ages are invited, but all young children must be accompanied by an adult. Bike helmets are required.  21 miles roundtrip. Be sure to check bikenewton.org for last-minute changes.
