A nice evening ride along the Charles River bike path to Harvard Sq. We can get a bite to eat at the Border Cafe , hang in the Square for a bit, then make our way back to Newtonville. It will probably be dark for the ride back, so make sure you have head and tail lights on your bike, and a light or reflective shirt or jacket. And, this is a great way to get in shape for the Tour de Newton!
Meet in front of the Star Market on Austin St, in Newtonville, and we’ll leave promptly at 6 PM. This is a family-friendly, “no-rider-left-behind” ride and all ages are invited, but all young children must be accompanied by an adult. Bike helmets are required. 13.5 miles round trip. Be sure to check bikenewton.org for last-minute changes.
