Join us for a multi-modal ride to the Boston Waterfront and Boston Harbor on Labor Day morning.     We’ll bike from Newtonville through Allston, Brighton and Boston to Central Wharf at the Aquarium, and board an MBTA ferry to Winthrop Landing  at 9:45 (with stops on the way at Logan and Seaport).  Ferry arrives in Winthrop at 10:30am.  We’ll take a bike tour of the scenic sights of Deer Island, and return to the dock for a return trip 12:15pm.  With stops at  Quincy and Seaport, we’ll return to the Aquarium at 1:15pm.

Complete MBTA Ferry schedules and info are here: https://www.mbta.com/schedules/ferry .  Bring a picnic lunch for the ferry ride back to the Aquarium.  The ferry fare roundtrip is $13.00/pp, though Senior and other discounts are available.

Meet at Star Market at 33 Austin St. in Newtonville. and we’ll depart at 8:15am Labor Day  Sept. 7. This is a family-friendly, “no-rider-left-behind” ride and all ages are invited, but all  children must be accompanied by an adult.  Bike helmets are required.  Approx. 25 miles roundtrip.  Be sure to check bikenewton.org for last-minute changes.
