Newton Group Bike Ride

Join us for a ride to Jamaica Plain to the headquarters of BikesNotBombs (284 Amory St., JP) where we will join and ride with BNB's  final Unity in Community Ride of the season which is planned to go 11am to 1pm.  After apple cider and donuts,  the group would head back to Newton.   The BNB rides usually feature a large number of riders, plenty of music and a lot of fun.  This BNB ride is short (8 mi.) and will tour through Franklin Park and the Arnold Arboretum. Halloween Window Painting Sat. Oct. 26th: Halloween Window Painting turns 25 this year! Kids in grades 3-8 will paint participating merchant windows in seven villages across Newton on Saturday October 26. We will start the anniversary celebrations with a costume and cupcake party for painters following the event on October 26. Then everyone is invited to join us on a celebratory bike tour to view the art across the city on Sunday October 27.
